Non- profit- making- association and non- political, founded 1st of february 1996. The aim of the A.C.Unity is to att spread knowledge about the Arctic circle and to support serious use of the A.C phenomen.It is also in the interset of the A.C. Unity to support social- and cultural progress in the Arctic Circle Village Juoksengi, and look after the village interests. The home of the A.C.Unity is Juoksengi. The A.C.unity has designed and produced an official Arctic Circle Certificate to offer the visitors to the Arctic circle in Juoksengi. Note that the A.C.unity certificate is the first and so far the only one in Sweden to be approved by the National land survey (LMV). To confirm the authenticity you can see the LMV
logo at the bottom of the certificate.

Retired surveyor and technology doctor of honorary, expert in the French expedition to Torne valley in the year 1736-37. Erik Tobé has written several books in the Tornedalica series about the French expedition.

Geodetic specialist in the National land survey, Martin Ekman has written about the Arctic circle phenomen.
