Arctic circle monument sketch, idea that can be reality in near future in
Juoksengi- Arctic circle village! It only needs a postive attitude of the local polticians
This sign from the sixties was placed about 2 km to the south of the
present location of the sign.
Then we were driving lefty so the sign was on the left side of the road.
3rd of september 1967 we turned to the right side of the road and a new
sign was born.
This picture is taken 1980.
The homemade sign that brought back the Arctic circle the right place in
Juoksengi.
Thanks to the
Arctic Circle Unity peolple nowadays can enjoy a real arctic circle crossin/ place.
